Clinical Manager, Behavioral Health & Child Services
Overview
Lead a multidisciplinary clinical team delivering integrated behavioral health services for adults and youth in a community setting. Own supervision, clinical oversight, and program planning to improve outcomes at scale. Collaborate with Clinical Director and Medical Director to ensure trauma-informed, evidence-based care and compliant documentation across sites and referrals. This role blends clinical leadership with hands-on coordination in a managed care environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and supervise a team of clinical therapists and interns with a focus on integrated care
- 2Design and review assessments and treatment plans to ensure clinical soundness and equity
- 3Train staff on best practices and trauma-informed care and contract requirements
- 4Coordinate and monitor therapy referrals and caseloads to balance performance and access
- 5Lead quarterly clinical documentation audits and ensure timely, compliant medical records
- 6Provide crisis interventions and clinical consultation to staff and teams
- 7Attend ART and CFT meetings to offer clinical recommendations and resolve systemic barriers
- 8Coordinate service denials with Medical Director and manage stakeholder notifications
- 9Monitor production, documentation timeliness, and outcomes to improve quality and safety
- 10Support community outreach and site visits to deliver services in various settings
Requirements10
- 1Master’s degree in behavioral health related field
- 2Independent licensure in clinical social work or marriage and family therapy or professional counseling
- 3Completion or eligibility for approved clinical supervisor training within 60 days of hire
- 4Current CPR First Aid and Therapeutic Options certifications
- 5Arizona fingerprint clearance card and valid driver’s license
- 621 years of age and ability to travel between sites
- 7Knowledge of trauma informed care, DSM-5 and ICD-10, and crisis intervention
- 8Experience with behavioral health services in community settings preferred
- 9Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office
- 10Strong communication and leadership skills
