What You'll Do6
- 1Perform MIG welding with flux-cored wire to join metal components per specifications.
- 2Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to set up each job accurately.
- 3Operate and maintain welding equipment, including power sources, wire feeders, and gas supplies.
- 4Inspect and test welds to identify and correct defects such as porosity, cracks, or incomplete fusion.
- 5Collaborate with production staff to optimize welding processes and reduce rework.
- 6Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and housekeeping standards.
Requirements6
- 12+ years of experience as a MIG or flux-cored wire welder in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- 2Proficient in reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications.
- 3Certified in MIG welding and familiar with relevant codes (e.g., AWS D1.1).
- 4Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds.
- 5Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
