What You'll Do16

  • 1Provide direct clinical services across assigned program areas following organizational policies
  • 2Deliver culturally responsive trauma informed care promoting dignity and respect
  • 3Assess and treat co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse using evidence based practices
  • 4Establish therapeutic rapport and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical standards
  • 5Conduct psychotherapy group and family sessions for adults and adolescents
  • 6Educate clients and families on mental health conditions and coping strategies
  • 7Apply harm reduction principles and substance use disorder interventions
  • 8Perform crisis assessments and safety planning while coordinating referrals to higher level care
  • 9Partner with leadership to provide clinical consultation and skill development
  • 10Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
  • 11Support clients in accessing benefits healthcare and community resources
  • 12Assist with transportation to enhance access to essential services
  • 13Participate in clinical consultations and mandatory reporting requirements
  • 14Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA regulations

Requirements7

  • 1Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field
  • 2Licensed as LICSW LP PCPP or LMFT in Minnesota
  • 32000 supervised hours working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
  • 430 CEU credits every two years
  • 5Two annual Human Resources trainings
  • 6Attendance at agency Race Equity Training
  • 7Experience with unsheltered populations
