- 2Maintain primary caseload and advocate for resident needs
- 3Create and evaluate individualized treatment plans aligned with program goals
- 4Document services accurately following agency and regulatory guidelines
- 5Update treatment plans promptly and maintain records efficiently
- 6Facilitate service unit utilization including case management
- 7Assist with benefit applications such as DPSS and SSI
- 8Ensure regulatory compliance and ethical practice adherence
- 9Collaborate with families and community partners
- 10Answer phones and complete screening forms accurately
- 11Attend required meetings and training sessions
- 12Support a safe environment free from substances
- 13Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements12
- 1Current SUD Counselor registration with state approval and certification within five years
- 2Enrollment in approved counselor education program with documented progress
- 3High School diploma or GED
- 4Master’s degree in behavioral health field
- 5Two years’ experience in SUD field
- 6Knowledge of 12-step programs and philosophy
- 7Valid government-issued photo ID
- 8Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- 9California driver’s license for personal or agency vehicle use
- 10Proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office
- 11Ability to speak effectively before groups and families
- 12Basic driving and communication skills for client interactions
