Overview
HealthRight 360 provides comprehensive integrated compassionate care for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. This on-call union eligible position requires assessing client needs and supporting recovery through counseling and case management. The role involves facilitating therapy groups teaching treatment curricula and ensuring 60% residential delivery goal.
What You'll Do11
- 1Facilitate group counseling sessions teach classes on treatment topics and deliver curricula aligned with program requirements
- 2Perform crisis intervention and communicate with treatment team during unforeseen situations
- 3Document all group and individual sessions within 24-72 hours per contract requirements
- 4Meet residential delivery goal of 60% and follow up on client treatment progress
- 5Link clients to internal and external resources based on treatment needs
- 6Maintain safety through house runs and secure client medication storage
- 7Assign client duties and sign off upon completion
- 8Accompany clients to offsite appointments and collaborate on treatment plans
- 9Complete discharge paperwork and support intake processes including room preparation
- 10Respond to medical emergencies perform substance use tests and observe clients every 30 minutes
- 11Collect biohazard waste disinfect rooms and enter data accurately in electronic systems
Requirements7
- 1Registered as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor or SUD Counselor with CA approved agency
- 2High school diploma or equivalent with bachelor's degree preferred in health human services social work or psychology
- 3First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- 4Valid CA driver's license
- 5Cultural competence and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- 6Experience with substance abuse mental health and criminal background issues
- 7Background check and Live Scan clearance accepted
