- 8Answer phones and complete referral forms
- 9Attend staff and agency meetings and training sessions
- 10Support a safe substance free environment
- 11Perform additional assigned duties
Requirements12
- 1Current SUD Counselor registration with state approved agency within five years
- 2Enrollment in approved counselor education program with progress proof
- 3High school diploma or GED
- 4SUD certification maintenance with 40 continuing education units
- 5Behavioral health pre licensure including BBS registration and law ethics exam
- 6Master's degree in behavioral health and one year experience
- 7Fluency in English writing speaking and documentation
- 8Basic computer skills and telehealth technology proficiency
- 9Knowledge of 12 step programs
- 10Valid CPR and first aid certifications
- 11Government issued photo id
- 12Valid California driver's license if using personal or agency vehicle
