MEI Contract Coordinator, Infrastructure & Maintenance
Overview
You will own the full lifecycle of multiple infrastructure maintenance contracts, from drafting and administration to quality assurance and payment processing. Working within EXP's Infrastructure team in Tampa, FL, you will coordinate with the State Maintenance Office, Department of Corrections, and district offices to ensure compliance and performance. This role demands deep expertise in contract administration and construction maintenance, offering the chance to shape major public projects. With a focus on technical rigor and stakeholder collaboration, you will drive efficiency and safety across all assigned contracts.
What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and manage the Asset Maintenance Monitoring Plan for multiple contracts, ensuring all requirements are met.
- 2Enforce the Maintenance Rating Program (MRP) payment, retainage, and penalties as specified.
- 3Coordinate between the State Maintenance Office, Department of Corrections, and district offices to align contract implementation.
- 4Monitor project performance against contract documents and department policies, conducting field reviews to ensure compliance.
- 5Review contractor technical proposals and advise Technical Review Committees on contract adherence.
- 6Provide direction and training to contract staff, ensuring consistent application of contracting procedures.
- 7Process pay estimates, verify inspection reports, and approve invoices for assigned projects.
- 8Develop contract modifications and evaluate contractor performance for accuracy and compliance.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of infrastructure design, construction, or maintenance experience.
- 2Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts, construction plans, and contract specifications.
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office and skilled use of engineering tools and instruments.
- 4Ability to monitor and inspect engineering projects, evaluate data, and prepare detailed reports.
- 5Strong oral and written communication, with effective planning and organizational skills.
- 6Valid Class 'E' driver's license and ability to respond to emergencies.
- 7Certification in Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic) - Advanced Level within one year and maintained thereafter.
