Field Engineer, Infrastructure Construction
Overview
You will own document control, quality, and safety support on commercial construction projects, coordinating with superintendents and trade partners. You will manage submittals, RFIs, and as-built updates, ensuring accuracy across Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office. You will support field layout and procurement schedules, resolving issues with the project team. This role offers direct authority over safety and quality, with growth potential in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Maintain contract documents, tracking all revisions during pre-construction and construction.
- 2Implement procedures for posting as-built updates from subcontractor red-lines.
- 3Develop and maintain logs for submittals, RFIs, and change management in Procore.
- 4Review submittals against contract documents and prepare RFIs.
- 5Assist with closeout by obtaining warranties and O&M manuals.
- 6Perform quantity calculations and track material completion percentages.
- 7Compile daily labor timesheets and update material tracking lists.
- 8Prepare meeting minutes for OAC and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- 9Collect and file project progress photos weekly in the project management system.
- 10Support field layout, including control points and as-built data compilation.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, or 2+ years in civil construction.
- 2OSHA 30 certification (minimum) with recommended refresher training.
- 3Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and Primavera P6.
- 4Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
- 5Strong time management and organizational skills.
- 6Strong written and verbal communication skills.
