Maintenance & Repair Coordinator
Overview
Lead administrative coordination for Maintenance Department at Bulk Environmental & Industrial. Oversee fleet equipment repairs, manage purchase orders, and process Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations while minimizing equipment downtime.
What You'll Do21
- 1Create, assign, and close Repair Orders in the fleet maintenance management system
- 2Review all repair requests for completeness and accuracy
- 3Monitor open repair orders and follow up to minimize equipment downtime
- 4Maintain accurate equipment maintenance histories
- 5Create and issue purchase orders for parts, outside repairs, tires, and maintenance services
- 6Ensure purchase orders are approved according to company policies
- 7Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and repair orders, tracking outstanding POs
- 8Prioritize safety-related defects from DVIRs requiring immediate action
- 9Generate repair orders from DVIR defects and document completed repairs
- 10Schedule repairs with internal technicians and external vendors
- 11Coordinate equipment movement between operations and repair facilities
- 12Communicate estimated completion times to operations
- 13Obtain repair estimates and monitor vendor performance
- 14Maintain CMMS with accurate equipment information
- 15Update asset records during equipment changes
- 16Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and generate performance reports
- 17Prepare distribution of routine reports including DVIR status and vendor performance
- 18Assist with parts ordering and inventory control
- 19Verify receipt of parts and services
- 20Maintain electronic maintenance documentation
- 21Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred)
- 23+ years of fleet maintenance administrative experience
- 3Knowledge of Heavy-Duty Truck and Equipment Maintenance
- 4Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- 6Experience with AMCS/Dossier TMT Fleet Maintenance Fleetio Motive Samsara or similar ERP purchasing systems
- 7Understanding of heavy-duty truck maintenance refuse fleets construction equipment and tire management programs
- 8Required: 5+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 9Concrete statement: 5+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
