AdventHealth seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead a full‑time shift in our Medical ICU. The ideal candidate will own patient care at scale across a 4‑week paid time off program and drive excellence through mentorship and quality improvement. What You'll Do11
- 1Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure ensuring proper technique and patient safety
- 2Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments adjusting care plans based on patient responses
- 3Assess patient conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and resolve complications
- 4Develop individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy
- 5Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance
- 6Monitor nursing staff performance offer feedback conduct appraisals and implement improvement plans
- 7Foster professional growth by identifying training needs organizing educational programs and mentoring staff
- 8Resolve conflicts promptly using mediation techniques to maintain a positive work environment
- 9Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care
- 10Communicate clearly with patients families and healthcare team members to coordinate care
- 11Mentor and precept new staff offering hands‑on training and fostering professional development
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Associates of Nursing required
- 3Bachelor's of Nursing preferred
- 41+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience preferred
- 51+ acute care nursing experience preferred
- 6Basic computer skills including EHR proficiency
- 7Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert [Preferred]
- 8Certified Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse [Preferred]
- 9NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program [Preferred]
- 10Florida Level 2 background screening completed
