What You'll Do11
- 1Own venous access procedures and infusion therapy management for adult patients
- 2Develop and implement individualized care plans addressing complex medical needs
- 3Provide patient education on treatment protocols and self-care strategies
- 4Lead a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and support staff
- 5Conduct performance reviews and drive clinical excellence
- 6Manage budget and resource allocation for the unit
- 7Collaborate with physicians and specialists on complex cases
- 8Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- 9Mentor junior staff and foster professional development
- 10Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes
- 11Coordinate discharge planning and transition of care
Requirements11
- 15+ years leading adult ICU units
- 2Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- 3Associate's degree in Nursing required
- 4Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5Basic Life Support certification required
- 6Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required
- 7Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- 8Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- 9Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- 10Experience with electronic health records and documentation systems
- 11Commitment to patient-centered care philosophy
