What You'll Do11
- 1Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapies with patient safety focus
- 2Assess patient conditions to determine appropriate vascular access methods
- 3Develop and implement personalized care plans addressing patient needs
- 4Provide patient education on venous access and infusion protocols
- 5Monitor nursing staff performance and conduct appraisals
- 6Lead quality improvement initiatives through data analysis and strategy implementation
- 7Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare teams
- 8Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and feedback
- 9Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- 10Manage financial aspects and productivity on the unit
- 11Assist in technology utilization across the unit
Requirements11
- 1Associate's of Nursing degree required with Bachelor's preferred
- 2Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support CPR certification required
- 3Advanced certifications such as CRNI and CNOR preferred
- 4Minimum one year charge nurse experience preferred
- 5One year acute care nursing experience preferred
- 6Additional certifications may apply based on unit requirements
- 7Physical stamina to stand and move throughout the shift
- 8Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- 9Ability to lead performance improvement projects
- 10Commitment to professional growth and impartial counseling
- 11Experience with electronic health records
