What You'll Do10

  • 1Build patient intake workflows by collecting histories, vital signs, and medications using EHR systems
  • 2Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and stock supplies for daily clinic operations
  • 3Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support procedures
  • 4Support physicians during examinations and procedures across outpatient, inpatient, or surgical settings
  • 5Document medical information accurately in EHR systems including ICD coding and detailed notes
  • 6Manage medical records with confidentiality and regulatory compliance
  • 7Provide patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and guiding patients from check-in to discharge
  • 8Assist with scheduling, insurance verification, and coordinating referrals or follow-up care
  • 9Coordinate care in dermatology, internal medicine, or hospital medicine environments
  • 10Maintain high-quality documentation and communication to support podiatry and surgical services

Requirements10

  • 1Prior experience in medical offices, clinics, hospitals, or outpatient settings preferred
  • 2Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding
  • 3Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management
  • 4Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent recommended
  • 5Phlebotomy or medication administration certifications advantageous
  • 6Experience supporting podiatry or surgical environments considered a strong asset
  • 7Strong patient service skills and excellent communication abilities
  • 8Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations
  • 9Willingness to work onsite with flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement
  • 10Pay range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
