What You'll Do8
- 1Build and prepare patients for exams by recording vital signs and chief complaints
- 2Assist providers with in office procedures including phlebotomy and EKGs
- 3Coordinate patient care including referrals authorizations and scheduling
- 4Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely clinical documentation for billing
- 5Ensure clean environments and equipment sterilization following safety guidelines
- 6Manage supplies and medication-related tasks including recalls and expirations
- 7Develop effective communication with patients families and internal teams
- 8Complete onboarding and simulation training as directed
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Completion of accredited medical assistant training program
- 3Active Medical Assistant Certification (RMA CMA CCMA or NCMA)
- 4BLS certification
- 5Ability to use medical software and manage multiple priorities
