What You'll Do10
- 1Build and conduct vital signs collection and documentation in the electronic health record
- 2Assist providers with exams and procedures to support efficient patient flow
- 3Perform diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms and pulmonary function tests
- 4Prepare and administer medications under supervision while ensuring proper labeling and storage
- 5Dispose of biohazardous materials following OSHA and hospital policies
- 6Maintain infection control standards and clean exam rooms per policy
- 7Process prescription refills and prior authorizations in collaboration with licensed clinicians
- 8Screen calls, relay accurate clinical messages, and assist with provider documentation
- 9Support documentation and administrative tasks including medication reconciliation in EHR
- 10Perform miscellaneous duties to support clinic operations
Requirements5
- 1Current CMA or RMA certification from AAMA or AMT or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- 2Experience performing clinical tasks under the guidance of a licensed health care professional
- 3Ability to measure vital signs, collect specimens, and perform point of care testing
- 4Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and OSHA safety standards
- 5Strong communication and teamwork skills
