Overview
Owns patient intake, vital signs, and CLIA testing in a pediatric back office at Mountain Park Health Center. Collaborates with front office to ensure accurate medical records and smooth revenue cycle activities. Adheres to HIPAA and all applicable regulations while delivering compassionate patient experiences. This role offers exposure to EHR workflows and pediatric immunization processes, with a focus on safety and quality in a community health setting.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient intake documentation and vital signs within the EHR to ensure accurate clinical histories
- 2Design and perform CLIA compliant testing and specimen processing with results documented in the EHR
- 3Lead immunization and medication administration workflows including labeling and storage
- 4Own coordination of continuity of care with internal health departments and discharge instructions
- 5Ship supplies and prepare exam rooms to maintain readiness for pediatric procedures
- 6Drive safety awareness by identifying hazards and notifying supervision
- 7Perform charting and documentation for all patient services and visits
- 8Collaborate with front office to maintain up-to-date medical records and revenue cycle activities
- 9Support non-clinical duties as required by the clinic to maintain daily operations
- 10Ensure regular and predictable attendance and adherence to guidelines
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Graduate of a medical assistant program
- 3Current CPR certification
- 4Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred
- 5Bilingual (Spanish/English or Somali/English) preferred
