What You'll Do9
- 1Review daily schedule escort patients disinfect infusion chairs and ask pertinent questions
- 2Offer snacks drinks and warm blankets to enhance patient comfort
- 3Disinfect infusion chairs and equipment between patients
- 4Attend to patient needs provide excellent customer service and coordinate follow-up appointments
- 5Facilitate peer-to-peer evaluations with health plans for infusion medications
- 6Engage with clinical staff pharmacies and insurance verification teams regarding infusion processes
- 7Manage specialty pharmacy benefits coordinate medication delivery and ensure six-month follow-ups
- 8Schedule patients for infusion visits assist with rooming patients and stock clinic supplies
- 9Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED and completion of a Medical Assistant Training program
- 2Two years of relevant experience
- 3Current certification as a Medical Assistant through AAMA AMT ARMA NCCT NHA NAHP AMCA AAH AAMP or NPS
- 4Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association
- 5Three years of MA experience
