Medical Assistant, Cardiology Chandler AZ & House Calls
Overview
Medical Assistant role supporting physicians in a cardiology practice with 40 years of service in the East Valley. You will work in Chandler with occasional travel to Casa Grande and other East Valley locations 1-2 days a week. The team operates weekday hours with 4x10s or 3x10s and 2x5s schedules. This role focuses on patient care, charting, vital signs, and clinical protocols in a safety-sensitive environment.
What You'll Do5
- 1Verify chart prep prior to patient visits and follow MA rooming protocols
- 2Record medications, allergies, risk factors, social and family history in patient charts
- 3Obtain vital signs EKGs and rhythm strips as needed
- 4Stock and maintain supply inventory in exam rooms and primary work areas
- 5Cross-train for additional diagnostic testing as needed
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Medical Assistant diploma
- 3Current BLS certification (must be obtained in 90 days if not current)
- 4Eligibility to work in the United States
- 5Cardiac experience or Medical Assistant certification preferred
