Medical Assistant, Behavioral Health & ECW Experience
Overview
Own a pivotal support role in a behavioral health practice with direct patient interaction and front/back office responsibilities. You will prepare patients for treatment, perform health screenings, document histories and vital signs, and assist with procedures. Work alongside providers and staff to maintain accurate medical records and timely referrals while upholding patient confidentiality. What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient intake processes that ensure accurate check-in and documentation in ECW
- 2Design and perform health screenings and vital signs collection to support treatment plans
- 3Lead room preparedness and procedure assistance to maintain smooth patient flow
- 4Ship and process referrals and authorizations to minimize delays in care
- 5Own medical record updates and confidentiality to preserve patient rights
- 6Collaborate with providers and staff to maintain clear communication and a positive team environment
- 7Coordinate scheduling and front/back office tasks to improve operational efficiency
- 8Manage office supplies and room cleanliness to support a safe clinical setting
- 9Assist with answering phones, collecting co-pays, and front desk duties
- 10Ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation and patient communications

- 1High school or equivalent
- 2Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)
- 3ECW experience preferred
- 4Ability to relocate to Chandler, AZ before starting
- 5Onsite, full-time in Phoenix, AZ
