What You'll Do12
- 1Manage office telephone systems by answering calls and returning messages
- 2Schedule patient appointments and maintain communication to confirm future visits
- 3Document patients' medical information including medical history and health insurance details
- 4Perform data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintain patient files
- 5Coordinate daily office activities greet patients and check patients in and out
- 6Record patients' vital signs document physicians notes and changes in medical conditions
- 7Take tissue and fluid samples and send them for laboratory analysis
- 8Prepare exam rooms prepping for clinical procedures and assisting practitioners
- 9Assist physicians during routine checkups outpatient procedures and physical exams
- 10Monitor and document patient symptoms for physician review during clinical exams
- 11Provide compassionate patient support and care during office visits
- 12Administer medications under supervising physicians direction

- 1High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2BLS Certification preferred
- 3Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- 4Medical Specialty Experience preferred
