
Medical Assistant Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program

What You'll Do11
- 1Collaborate with RN and multidisciplinary team to conduct admission interviews and determine appropriate work assignments
- 2Communicate task completion status and patient data findings to ensure timely care delivery
- 3Accurately collect vital patient data including vitals weights and A1c results
- 4Perform basic patient testing such as guaiac stool, urine dip glucose and fingerstick measurements
- 5Assist nurses and providers during complex treatments and procedure setups
- 6Maintain inventory and equipment logs while supporting clinical operations
- 7Attend daily team huddles and staff meetings to align on patient care goals
- 8Provide patient education regarding Primary Care Management Home visits
- 9Participate in quality improvement initiatives for high-risk patient populations
- 10Escort patients to appointments and coordinate transportation services
- 11Answer phones and support administrative functions as needed
Requirements11
- 15+ years building EHR systems with Epic
- 2AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential
- 3CPC Card certification preferred
- 4BCBA certification required
- 5Spark programming experience
- 6Airflow workflow automation expertise
- 7Strong knowledge of medical terminology and vital signs measurement
- 8Proficiency with fax machines and copiers
- 9Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 10Ability to speak Spanish or French Creole
- 11High school diploma or equivalent

$46 - $73k per year
