Medical Assistant II - Boston Healthcare Team
Overview

What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as a role model providing support training and sharing knowledge with peers and students
- 2Make recommendations for optimizing resource utilization
- 3Identify and resolve OSHA compliance issues maintain point of care testing and track results
- 4Participate in practice improvement initiatives and small projects
- 5Greet patients serve as a communication resource and solve problems
- 6Take accurate patient information and relay it appropriately to providers
- 7Respond promptly to phone calls and requests
- 8Escort patients to exam rooms ensure availability of equipment and supplies
- 9Obtain vital signs perform EKGs and assist with injections or phlebotomy
- 10Implement quality control standards and manage medical records
- 11Assist with procurement of medical records and ensure proper documentation
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or GED required
- 2Certificate in Medical Assistant required
- 31-3 years of relevant work experience
- 4Proficiency with computer systems including web applications and Microsoft Office
- 51-3 years of experience in primary care medical assisting
- 6Ability to work in medium physical environment standing and moving throughout shift
- 7Valid flu vaccination required
- 8Strong oral and written communication skills
- 9Competence with patient care across multiple age groups
- 10Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and practicing ethical standards
Salary Insight
$46 - $60k per year
