Medical Administrative Assistant, Mental Health Prescriber Support

Own front-desk and clinical support for a mental health clinic, coordinating schedules, medications, and client communication. What You'll Do10
- 1Answer client calls and resolve questions, complaints, and scheduling needs with professionalism.
- 2Guide clients through telehealth troubleshooting for virtual appointments.
- 3Call insurance providers for prior authorization and copay information, and process medication authorizations.
- 4Schedule client appointments and manage provider calendars across multiple locations.
- 5Coordinate care between clients, providers, and therapists, including managing waitlists.
- 6Own the medication logbook and download the prescription monitoring report daily for review.
- 7Prepare client files and assist providers with administrative tasks, including prescription refills.
- 8Train new team members and orient them on day one to clinic processes.
- 9Maintain office supplies and ensure all office processes and policies are followed.
- 10Support clinical directors and site coordinators with new initiatives and coverage.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in stressful situations
- 3Patient and empathetic attitude with adaptability and flexibility
- 4Strong time management, detail orientation, and organizational skills
- 5Computer skills, including familiarity with Google Drive
