Mechatronic Apprentice - Robotics Maintenance Technician
Overview
Mechatronic Apprentices join a paid training program to maintain and repair automated material handling equipment for a global leader in e-commerce. You will complete 9 weeks of classroom instruction and on-the-job training with CBRE GWS to become a Maintenance or Controls Technician. You will solve electrical and mechanical issues on conveyors, sortation systems, and robotics. This role offers advancement after 6 months of successful service and a comprehensive benefits package.
What You'll Do6
- 1Solve electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment including belts, motors, and photo-eyes.
- 2Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
- 3Document preventative maintenance routines and track inventory.
- 4Operate powered and non-powered hand tools safely.
- 5Follow all safety procedures and promote a safety-first culture.
- 6Collaborate with client and operations team members to ensure minimal downtime.
Requirements5
- 10-2 years of experience in maintenance or technical field preferred.
- 2Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
- 3Experience using powered and non-powered hand tools.
- 4High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5Willingness to complete 9 weeks of classroom training and on-the-job learning.
