Overview
You will own maintenance and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment at a cutting-edge facility in San Francisco. You will maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems while troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems. You will work with a team of technicians and mentor junior staff. What You'll Do7
- 1Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- 2Complete preventative maintenance routines on material handling equipment with proper documentation.
- 3Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, and relays.
- 4Create, assign, and close work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
- 5Track and store department inventory for maintenance parts.
- 6Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
- 7Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
Requirements11
- 12+ years repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
- 22+ years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 31+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 41+ years applying electrical and electronic principles.
- 5Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- 7Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts.
- 8Associates degree or higher from a vocational school with a focus in Mechanical or Electrical field.
- 9Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
- 10Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
- 11Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
