Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, MHE Maintenance
Overview
You will own maintenance and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment, including robotic systems and MHE, across a busy fulfillment facility. Reporting to the Operations Maintenance Team, you will work alongside electricians and mechanics to keep uptime high. You will also mentor junior technicians and drive safety. This role stands out for its focus on robotics and CMMS in a cutting-edge warehouse environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Troubleshoot and repair MHE and automated conveyor systems, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, and relays, within the first 90 days.
- 2Perform preventative maintenance routines on robotic and pneumatic equipment, documenting all actions in the CMMS.
- 3Create, assign, and close work orders, capturing labor hours, parts used, and equipment maintenance data.
- 4Lead safety by example, adhering to all OSHA required procedures and promoting a safe work culture.
- 5Track and store department inventory, ensuring critical spares are available for robotic and conveyor systems.
- 6Mentor junior technicians on PLC troubleshooting and MHE repair best practices.
- 7Communicate maintenance status to operations leadership, maintaining positive cross-functional relationships.
Requirements9
- 12+ years experience repairing MHE or automated conveyor systems and controls.
- 22+ years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 31+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 41+ years applying electrical and electronic principles.
- 5Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent.
- 8Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and wear PPE including hard hat, face mask, and composite toe shoes.
- 9Flexible schedule for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
