Mechanical Technician, CNC Machinery & Industrial Equipment
Overview
Own and optimize maintenance for CNC staple set brush-making machinery at scale within a stable, family-owned manufacturer. You will set up, service, and troubleshoot automated and manual production equipment to support daily output. What You'll Do10
- 1Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot staple set brush-making machinery to meet daily production targets
- 2Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime
- 3Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and related system issues to minimize downtime
- 4Execute machine changeovers for various brush designs and materials without quality loss
- 5Collaborate with team members to align on production goals, schedules, and quality standards
- 6Document maintenance actions and equipment performance to support continuous improvement
- 7Assist with equipment commissioning and testing of new tooling or configurations
- 8Support safe work practices and compliance with manufacturing standards
- 9Interpret technical manuals and engineering blueprints to troubleshoot and repair
- 10Contribute to root-cause analysis for recurring equipment issues
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 5 years of experience with automated and manual production equipment in an industrial setting
- 2Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills with knowledge of manufacturing processes
- 3Familiarity with pneumatic and electrical systems
- 4Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering blueprints
- 5High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
- 6Experience supporting CNC machinery and automation environments
- 7Ability to work on 1st shift hours (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) and adapt to manufacturing schedules
- 8Strong teamwork and communication skills
