Overview
You will own maintenance for a precision manufacturing plant in Chatsworth, CA, keeping CNC and manual machinery running at peak performance for aerospace and defense clients. What You'll Do5
- 1Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections across CNC grinders, lathes, mills, and manual equipment to ensure zero unplanned downtime.
- 2Diagnose and repair faults in PLC-controlled systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics to restore machinery quickly.
- 3Handle chemicals and oils safely, following PPE and regulatory compliance at all times.
- 4Maintain precise maintenance logs in CMMS, documenting all actions and flagging recurring issues.
- 5Promote a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support lean operations.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing or machining environment.
- 2Strong mechanical aptitude with CNC machine repair experience.
- 3Confident use of PLC systems for diagnostics.
- 4Proficient in pneumatics and hydraulics troubleshooting.
- 5Basic computer skills, including email and CMMS usage.
- 6Ability to work independently or collaborate with internal teams.
- 7Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- 8Safe and confident use of hand tools and basic power tools.
