What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial projects using detailed material take-offs and labor costs
- 2Lead bid preparation processes including proposal development and documentation
- 3Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify savings and propose value engineering alternatives
- 4Maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and negotiate contracts
- 5Utilize advanced estimating software for quantity take-offs and accurate calculations
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project information and coordinate efforts
- 7Mentor junior estimators and provide technical guidance
- 8Ensure compliance with company standards in documentation and reporting
- 9Drive project success through precise estimation and strategic recommendations
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- 23-5 years mechanical construction estimating experience
- 3Proficiency with Python and AWS
- 4Expertise in React and Kubernetes
- 5Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification preferred
