We seek a skilled Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead estimation efforts for a growing team. - 1Build scalable estimation processes using Python and AWS
- 2Design detailed cost models for mechanical piping plumbing and heavy construction systems
- 3Lead shipment of estimates that meet client expectations within tight deadlines
- 4Own the estimation lifecycle from initial scope gathering to final delivery
- 5Scale estimation resources during peak project periods
- 6Debug discrepancies between estimated costs and actual project expenses
- 7Drive continuous improvement in estimation accuracy and efficiency
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical queries
- 9Maintain compliance with industry standards and contractual requirements
Requirements10
- 15+ years experience estimating mechanical piping plumbing and heavy construction projects
- 23-5 seasons leading estimation teams or managing high-volume workloads
- 3AWS Certified cloud solutions professional
- 4CPC Card certification preferred
- 5BCBA credential optional
- 6Proficiency in React for internal tool development
- 7Strong analytical skills with expertise in Kubernetes environments
- 8Understanding of Spark and Airflow for data processing tasks
- 9Experience with HVAC ductwork estimation methodologies
- 10Ability to negotiate favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors
