What You'll Do10
- 1Execute daily inventory refills using handheld devices and Lawson sheets to truing up stock levels.
- 2Manage supplemental orders and prioritize urgent supply requests from clinical departments.
- 3Monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items to maintain compliance.
- 4Participate in cycle counts and annual inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
- 5Operate Pyxis systems to track dispensing and reordering of medical supplies.
- 6Maintain organization of supply shelves and storage areas to optimize retrieval.
- 7Coordinate with department leads to identify slow-moving and fast-moving products.
- 8Deliver supplies to nursing units and specialty carts throughout the hospital.
- 9Document inventory transactions and charge codes in hospital systems.
- 10Support emergency response by ensuring crash carts and code trays are always stocked.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 2One to two years' experience in material supply distribution, preferably in healthcare.
- 3Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) certification within 30 days of hire.
- 4Knowledge of medical supplies, terminology, and equipment procedures.
- 5Knowledge of basic inventory management concepts and terminology.
- 6Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- 7Ability to perform simple math and write legibly.
- 8Ability to handle a high volume of detailed work accurately.
- 9Willingness to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
- 10Ability to work effectively as a team member and maintain a professional demeanor.
