Material Project Manager Level 3 Boeing
Overview
Material Project Manager leads material strategies within the Program Management Office and Manufacturing Organization. This onsite role in El Segundo supports cost and schedule adherence while driving risk mitigation. You will aggregate engineering requirements and translate them into MRP specifications. This position differs by focusing on material integration across defense programs.
What You'll Do11
- 1Support Control Account Management activities including baseline scheduling and cost planning
- 2Provide IMS status and generate Estimates to Complete and EAC reports
- 3Identify material risks and develop mitigation plans
- 4Aggregate engineering material requirements and create procurement strategies
- 5Analyze material needs to produce program summaries with issue identification
- 6Partner with procurement to evaluate supplier costs and lead times
- 7Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure design for manufacturability
- 8Execute tracking systems for lead times and supplier performance
- 9Drive continuous improvement in material procurement workflows
- 10Maintain compliance with export controls and security clearance requirements
- 11Report material program metrics to executive leadership
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management logistics or related field
- 2Minimum 3 years’ experience in material management procurement or supply chain
- 3Proficiency with ERP systems aerospace industry experience
- 4US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
- 5Strong analytical abilities and data interpretation skills
- 6Experience with EVMS requirements preferred
- 7Self starter who can interface with internal and external stakeholders
- 8Ability to operate in ambiguous environments
- 9Conflict of interest assessment completed prior to offer
- 10Drug free workplace policy adherence required
