Overview
The Material Program Manager leads the Material Program Manager role supporting the Mission Solutions & Payloads portfolio within the Air & Space Defense Systems strategic business unit. This onsite position in Los Angeles requires coordinating material strategies aligning with supply chain and enterprise objectives while influencing program IPT teams.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage and execute material program strategy and material program plan
- 2Provide supply chain support for RLPM activities and ensure IPDP compliance
- 3Own supplier management activities including metrics and international issues
- 4Make/Buy Where strategy development and communication of customer flow via FAR/DFARS ITAR
- 5Support proposal activities including pricing and base of estimates
- 6Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives
- 7Identify small business participation opportunities
- 8Work with Engineering Mission Assurance Operations for MRP scheduling
- 9Monitor and act on performance and financial metrics
- 10Responsible for financial tasks including budget tracking and sales forecasts
- 11Flow down program requirements and supplier best practices
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
- 2U.S. citizenship required
- 3Degree in Supply Chain Finance Operations or related field
- 4Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- 5Supply chain experience in Aerospace or Defense industry preferred
- 6Earned Value Management certification or equivalent
- 7Cost Account Manager experience preferred
- 8Ability to interface with all internal management levels including suppliers
- 9Strategic thinking with tactical application skills
- 10Understanding of FAR/DFARS ITAR regulations and quality/warranty requirements
