Material Handler, Automated Warehouse & HCD Systems
Overview
You will own case picking and sorting in an automated warehouse at Rand Cola-Cola Beverages in Raleigh, NC. Operating the Horizontal Case Dispenser (HCD) system, you place product cases onto conveyor lanes across three platform levels. You join a team that coordinates warehouse processes under tight timelines. This role demands precision and safety in a high-volume environment, with training across HCD, switch platform, and manual picking. You get hands-on experience with automated systems, conveyor controls, and inventory management from day one.
What You'll Do7
- 1Operate the HCD system on a raised platform, placing product cases onto designated conveyor lanes at one of three levels.
- 2Use computer systems and automated machinery to assist in case picking and sorting while following all RCCB safety protocols.
- 3Coordinate with teammates to organize efficient warehouse processes and maintain dependable workflow.
- 4Adapt to rotating work areas including HCD, switch platform, and manual picking, completing tasks within expectations.
- 5Maintain warehouse cleanliness: clear trash, clean spills, and follow waste removal and recycling protocols.
- 6Control inventory accuracy to minimize shrink, working safely and precisely in a noisy, time-sensitive setting.
- 7Support daily operations as directed and perform additional duties to keep the automated environment running smoothly.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 23+ years in a warehouse distribution environment.
- 3Valid NC Driver License.
- 4Work history showing leadership, dependability, integrity, attention to detail, self-motivation, and initiative.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 6Ability to obtain a forklift license and operate manual/power pallet jacks, floor scrubber, and other warehouse equipment.
- 7Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds over shoulders occasionally, and CO2 cylinders up to 55 pounds.
- 8Ability to push/pull product frequently and walk/stand/sit at least 8 hours daily.
- 9Must pass background check, Motor Vehicle Report, and drug testing requirements.
