Overview
Own hands-on assembly in a semiconductor manufacturing setting with precision component placement and visual inspection. Work in gloveboxes and under microscopes, following detailed procedures and quality standards. Collaborate with a small startup team to solve problems and optimize processes. What You'll Do10
- 1Build components in a defined sequence using specified tooling and instructions
- 2Inspect components and assemblies to ensure conformance with procedures and quality standards
- 3Identify and report defective materials or assemblies to the team
- 4Maintain accurate work-in-process records for the assigned cell
- 5Keep the work area clean and organized to support safe and efficient operations
- 6Perform precise mechanical assembly using hand tools including tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, and torque wrenches
- 7Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and visual aids to complete assemblies correctly
- 8Support semiconductor manufacturing, R&D, and production activities as needed
- 9Place components with precision using microscopes and glovebox equipment when required
- 10Collaborate with team members to communicate issues and propose process improvements
Requirements11
- 1Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, R&D, or production environments
- 2Knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001 quality standards
- 3Ability to use hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers
- 4Proficiency in reading and following written procedures and work instructions
- 5Ability to interpret visual aids and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- 6Skill in precision mechanical component placement and assembly
- 7Experience working with glovebox systems for controlled-environment tasks
- 8Experience using microscopes for inspection and fine assembly work
- 9Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
- 10Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- 113+ years of relevant experience preferred
