What You'll Do9

  • 1Oversee daily 2nd shift manufacturing operations, directing supervisors and staff to hit production targets on time.
  • 2Develop and execute production plans in SAP and Excel, balancing capacity, labor, and material to meet customer demand.
  • 3Monitor live MES dashboards and adjust workflows to keep throughput and quality at target.
  • 4Own process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma tools, cutting waste and cost by 10% in the first year.
  • 5Enforce OSHA and ISO 9001 compliance across all work cells, documenting audits and corrective actions.
  • 6Partner with engineering on AutoCAD and EPLAN designs to validate manufacturability before release.
  • 7Track and report KPIs like OEE, DPPM, and on-time delivery to plant leadership weekly.
  • 8Mentor supervisors on root cause analysis and 5S execution, building their capability to self-solve issues.
  • 9Coordinate with maintenance and facilities to minimize downtime and keep CNC and press brake equipment running.

Requirements10

  • 15+ years in manufacturing management, with 3+ years supervising supervisors or leads.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or related field.
  • 3Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
  • 4Proven skill using Microsoft Excel for capacity planning and KPI rollout.
  • 5Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle for production scheduling.
  • 6Working knowledge of AutoCAD or EPLAN for reading electrical schematics.
  • 7Hands-on background in control panel assembly or electrical manufacturing.
  • 8Data-driven mindset with Python or SQL for analyzing production metrics.
  • 9Strong leadership track record building teams and hitting OEE and quality goals.
  • 10Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours (3pm-11pm) with occasional weekends.
