Manufacturing Manager, 2nd Shift
Overview
You will lead a team of 10+ technicians producing life-saving public safety drones and response networks at BRINC, a company reaching 600+ agencies with over $150M funding. You will run second shift operations, coordinate with Engineering and Supply Chain, and own production quality and workflow. What You'll Do10
- 1Own daily production operations and resource allocation across multiple production lines to meet output targets.
- 2Build and mentor a team of Production Technicians through recruiting, training, and performance management.
- 3Prioritize and distribute work to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- 4Implement and enforce production standards and quality control measures on the floor.
- 5Partner with Supply Chain to monitor inventory and prevent disruptions using ERP and MES systems.
- 6Serve as the primary liaison between Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Inventory teams to resolve issues swiftly.
- 7Drive continuous improvement and process optimization using lean manufacturing principles.
- 8Maintain hands-on proficiency with production assembly and troubleshooting to guide the team.
- 9Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
- 10Review and approve production documentation and process changes.
Requirements10
- 15+ years in manufacturing, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- 2Hands-on experience with ERP and MES software systems.
- 3Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- 4Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- 5Proven ability to build and mentor technical teams.
- 6Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles.
- 7Ability to analyze production metrics and drive improvements.
- 8Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus.
- 9Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems is a plus.
- 10Background in drone or aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
Salary Insight
