Overview
Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes to enhance batch quality and reduce costs. Lead small scale capital projects and coordinate efficiency initiatives across departments.
What You'll Do11
- 1Process/equipment troubleshooting to improve batch quality and assist with cost reduction
- 2Test new and existing production procedures
- 3Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources
- 4Optimize facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations
- 5Resolve production issues and delays
- 6Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers
- 7Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- 8Upgrade systems and processes with new technology
- 9Coordinate efficiency initiatives and follow through on results
- 10Confirm vendor product specifications and arrange equipment purchases
- 11Analyze and design workspace layouts for maximum efficiency
Requirements5
- 1B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field required
- 23+ years experience as a manufacturing engineer preferred
- 3Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 5Excellent written and oral communication abilities

$68 - $107k per year
