Manager Arena Security, Sports & Events
Overview
Lead the security program for mortgage matchup center and 5G performance center supporting teams, guests, vendors, and events. Own staffing, safety inspections, and security technology management in a high-profile sports environment. Collaborate with executives, clients, and vendors to protect people and assets while delivering memorable fan experiences. This role combines operations, incident response, and program development to elevate safety standards across venues.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain security procedures and briefing materials for staff
- 2Lead scheduling and deployment for events and daily operations ensuring coverage
- 3Oversee security technologies including cameras and access control and plan end-of-life replacements
- 4Respond to incidents during events with strong problem-solving under pressure
- 5Coordinate with counsel and internal teams for claims and legal matters
- 6Maintain confidentiality on legal matters and lawsuits and ensure compliance with life safety codes
- 7Lead meetings with stakeholders across levels including executives, clients, and vendors
- 8Monitor and improve guest issue resolution and follow-up processes
- 9Support department initiatives and training programs
- 10Develop and manage budgets for security infrastructure and replacements
Requirements5
- 13-5 years of industry experience and supervisory experience
- 2Experience leading organizations of 100+ employees preferred
- 3OSHA 10 card required; OSHA 30 preferred (must be acquired within 6 months of start)
- 4Strong verbal and written communication for postings and briefings
- 5Ability to respond to incidents during events and work under pressure
