Security Dispatcher, Event Security & Training
Overview
Own event security dispatch operations for large venue events at scale. Play a key role in training, staffing, and ensuring adherence to arena policies and the NBA Fan Code of Conduct. Collaborate with leadership to elevate the security experience while maintaining safety priorities. This role is onsite in Phoenix and requires working around 90% of events.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the Event Security Control Center during events to ensure smooth operations
- 2Train, onboard, and develop security staff and dispatch protocols
- 3Support hiring and staffing initiatives and staff placement for events
- 4Enforce arena policies, safety rules, and NBA Fan Code of Conduct consistently
- 5Monitor crowds for safety concerns and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- 6Prepare clear incident reports and maintain strong situational awareness during and after events
- 7Provide direction to team members during evacuations and re-entry
- 8Identify opportunities to enhance security experience while maintaining priorities
- 9Serve as information resource for event specifics and team member inquiries
- 10Mentor and coach team members to maintain high professionalism and accountability
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Minimum of two years of security dispatch experience preferred
- 3Minimum of three years of customer service experience preferred
- 4Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- 5Military and/or law enforcement experience is a plus
