Make Ready Technician, General Maintenance & Unit Turns
Overview
Own Make Ready operations at a busy property portfolio in Morrisville and Raleigh, scaling to support move-ins and daily maintenance. You will drive unit turns, perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, and install hardware to ready apartments for new residents. You will coordinate with onsite teams to communicate progress and maintain safe work practices. This role blends hands-on repairs with fast-paced property operations to deliver timely, move-in ready homes.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and complete unit turns including cleaning, repairs, and touch‑ups to ready units for move‑ins.
- 2Perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to fix issues and install hardware.
- 3Install hardware and troubleshoot appliances to ensure full functionality.
- 4Communicate progress with onsite staff and document work performed to maintain scheduling.
- 5Maintain safe work practices and proper tool use while handling equipment.
- 6Support daily maintenance needs and respond to routine repair requests in a timely manner.
Requirements9
- 1Experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician
- 2General maintenance skills including Basic electrical and Basic plumbing
- 3Carpentry and hardware installation
- 4Appliance troubleshooting
- 5Must have own tools and ability to use hand and power tools
- 6Ability to perform physical labor
- 7Location: Morrisville, NC (onsite) and Raleigh, NC
- 8Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
- 9Contract or Contract to Hire eligibility
