Apartment Make Ready Technician, Property Maintenance & Make-Ready
Overview
Own make-ready tasks for occupied and vacant units across a 318-unit property. You will perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, ensuring timely unit turns and high-quality finishes. You will collaborate with the maintenance team to uphold safety and cleanliness standards across the community. This role blends physical hands-on work with reliable, detail-oriented craftsmanship on a daily basis.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and repair electrical, plumbing, and carpentry elements in vacant units
- 2Paint and caulk interiors and exteriors to achieve move-in ready condition
- 3Repair or service sinks, showers, cabinets, doors, fixtures, and lighting hardware
- 4Inspect locks, weather stripping, and re-key as needed to ensure security
- 5Keep common areas clean and assist with grounds upkeep including trash pickup and pressure washing
- 6Turn units on schedule by coordinating with maintenance teammates
- 7Maintain safety and quality standards throughout the community
- 8Assist with drywall patches, texturing, sanding and finishing as needed
- 9Support a positive, dependable work environment through consistent performance
- 10Ensure tools and equipment are organized and returned after use
Requirements9

- 2Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and construction repair abilities
- 3Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- 4Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- 5A personal set of basic hand tools
- 6The ability to lift 40-50 lbs
- 7Dependability, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
- 8Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate
- 9Must comply with uniform policy and safety standards
