Make Ready Technician, Apartment Turnover
Overview
Make Ready technicians own the full turnover process for apartment units in a Dallas property. They inspect, repair, and prep each unit to a move-in-ready standard within tight deadlines. Working closely with the Supervisor, they handle drywall, paint, caulking, and basic HVAC checks. This role stands out with weekly pay, full benefits, and career growth through RPM Living.
What You'll Do8
- 1Follow the make-ready checklist to complete repairs and improvements before resident move-in, as directed by the Supervisor.
- 2Inspect sheetrock, repair damage, caulk windows and fixtures, and perform touch-up paint in apartment homes.
- 3Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for make-ready tasks.
- 4Cut expenses by fixing parts instead of replacing them and avoiding waste.
- 5Assist with property curb appeal by picking up trash, pressure-washing, general cleaning, and painting.
- 6Comply with safety policies by participating in OSHA training and reporting accidents promptly.
- 7Deliver high customer service by treating residents with respect and completing work with urgency.
- 8Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 21+ year experience in maintenance or related field.
- 3General knowledge in drywall, carpentry, construction, and maintenance.
- 4HVAC experience a plus but not required.
- 5Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- 6Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
