Make Ready Technician, Apartment Maintenance
Overview
You'll prepare apartments for new residents and support daily maintenance needs at a busy community in Carrollton, TX. Working with a small onsite team, you'll handle unit turns, repairs, and touch-ups. This hands-on role starts immediately with a Monday–Friday schedule and pays $18/hour, offering a Contract-to-Hire path.
What You'll Do6
- 1Prepare units for move-ins through cleaning, repairs, and touch-ups
- 2Perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
- 3Replace fixtures, hardware, and basic components
- 4Install hardware and troubleshoot appliances
- 5Maintain safe work practices and proper tool use
- 6Communicate progress with onsite staff
Requirements7
- 1Experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician
- 2General maintenance skills, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, hardware installation, and appliance troubleshooting
- 3Own basic tools
- 4Ability to use hand and power tools
- 5Ability to perform physical labor
- 6Reliable transportation and attendance
- 7Maintenance attire and work boots required
