What You'll Do11
- 1Collect and dispose of trash and debris five days weekly
- 2Complete routine work orders promptly
- 3Perform minor plumbing HVAC and electrical repairs
- 4Assist with apartment turnovers preventive maintenance and building inspections
- 5Operate maintenance equipment and power tools safely
- 6Diagnose routine maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs
- 7Assist with emergency maintenance calls and after-hours service requests
- 8Maintain cleanliness of grounds common areas and mechanical rooms
- 9Communicate professionally with residents vendors and staff
- 10Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- 11Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements11
- 1Basic knowledge of plumbing systems
- 2Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
- 3Basic knowledge of residential electrical repairs
- 4Ability to diagnose routine maintenance issues with minimal supervision
- 5Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and power tools
- 6Must possess and maintain a basic set of personal hand tools
- 7Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- 8Ability to participate in an on-call rotation including overnight emergency calls
- 9Ability to work independently while following direction from the Maintenance Supervisor
- 10Physical ability to lift push and pull 50 pounds or more
- 11Ability to stand walk bend kneel climb ladders and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
