Overview

Manage property maintenance operations across residential units and common areas. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and teamwork to deliver high-quality service. Candidates will own daily operations and contribute to a positive community environment.

What You'll Do19

  • 1Communicate professionally with coworkers vendors and residents
  • 2Identify and report operational issues to management
  • 3Complete service requests promptly in occupied apartments
  • 4Maintain cleanliness in hallways and community spaces
  • 5Prepare vacant units for leasing by removing trash and debris
  • 6Assist bailiffs with eviction processes
  • 7Repair windows and perform painting touch-ups
  • 8Execute carpentry tasks such as drywall replacement and fixture installation
  • 9Conduct basic electrical repairs and install light fixtures
  • 10Handle appliance repairs including refrigerators and washers
  • 11Perform plumbing repairs and unclog drains
  • 12Service HVAC systems through troubleshooting and component replacement
  • 13Ensure functional exterior and common area lighting
  • 14Clear snow and ice from walkways for safety
  • 15Carry out grounds maintenance including landscaping
  • 16Follow municipal codes during preventative maintenance
  • 17Provide after-hours emergency services for maintenance needs
  • 18Work overtime when required and lift up to 50 pounds
  • 19Collaborate with supervisor on additional tasks

Requirements9

  • 15+ years building maintenance experience
  • 2Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing and HVAC systems
  • 3EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred
  • 4Physical ability to climb ladders and lift heavy objects
  • 5Proven organizational skills and time management
  • 6Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 7Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • 8Commitment to maintaining safe living environments
  • 9Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures
