Overview

We seek an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician with active EPA Universal Certification to join our multifamily property maintenance team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional proficient in HVAC electrical plumbing appliance repair and apartment make-readies. This position involves troubleshooting maintenance issues completing work orders efficiently providing professional service to residents and maintaining community conditions. EPA Universal Certification and prior apartment maintenance experience are strongly preferred.

What You'll Do15

  • 1Diagnose troubleshoot and complete apartment maintenance service requests
  • 2Troubleshoot HVAC systems and perform repairs within certification guidelines
  • 3Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • 4Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including toilets faucets sinks disposals and leaks
  • 5Troubleshoot repair and replace household appliances
  • 6Complete apartment make-readies and vacant unit turns
  • 7Install and replace fixtures hardware locks blinds and other apartment components
  • 8Respond professionally and promptly to resident maintenance requests
  • 9Complete preventive maintenance and property inspections as assigned
  • 10Identify maintenance or safety concerns and communicate them to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • 11Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and repairs
  • 12Maintain tools equipment and inventory in an organized condition
  • 13Assist with grounds common-area and general property maintenance when needed
  • 14Follow company safety procedures and EPA requirements
  • 15Participate in an on-call rotation when required by the property

  • 1EPA Universal Certification
  • 2Previous apartment multifamily residential or similar maintenance experience
  • 3Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting
  • 4Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical repairs
  • 5Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs
  • 6Safety-conscious attitude
