As a Maintenance Technician you will own unit turns and on-site upkeep across luxury apartment communities in San Diego. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and finish work to uphold high standards for resident comfort. You will balance technical repair work with professional customer service while coordinating with site leadership and leasing teams. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and perform comprehensive repairs across plumbing, electrical, framing, drywall, and finish carpentry to maintain property aesthetics
- 2Turn around vacant units efficiently by managing make-ready tasks and coordinating with leasing teams
- 3Diagnose and resolve appliance issues and exterior maintenance needs to minimize resident impact
- 4Operate safely with a variety of hand and power tools and report hazards promptly
- 5Assist with demolition, concrete, and underground tasks as project requirements dictate
- 6Own accurate daily logs of operations, maintenance requests, and safety inspections
- 7Respond to resident work orders with professional communication and high-touch service
- 8Collaborate with site leadership to prioritize urgent repairs and resident safety
- 9Represent the organization professionally while working in occupied units
- 10Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and safety protocols
Requirements7
- 1Proven background as a maintenance technician in apartment or multi-unit environments
- 2Multi-trade proficiency with plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills preferred
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with residents and team members
- 4Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a crew
- 5Customer service oriented with a focus on delivering quality results for residents
- 6Physical ability to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds in various conditions
- 7Ability to operate safely in weather conditions and tight spaces such as crawl spaces and utility closets
