Maintenance Technician, Industrial Equipment & Factory Environment
Overview
The Maintenance Technician owns routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in a fast-paced facility. You will minimize downtime, keep equipment safe, and maintain a clean work environment. Startup experience is a plus as processes and equipment evolve rapidly. What You'll Do10
- 1Inspect and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure uptime
- 2Troubleshoot and repair machinery, tools, and equipment to restore production quickly
- 3Conduct routine facility and equipment inspections to identify issues and prevent failures
- 4Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory usage
- 5Assist in installation setup assembly and commissioning of new and existing machinery
- 6Perform mechanical assembly disassembly modification and alignment of production equipment
- 7Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards including OSHA policies
- 8Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
- 9Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when required
- 10Support continuous improvement initiatives and facility upgrades
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification preferred
- 2Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
- 3Experience in startup or fast-paced manufacturing environments preferred
- 4Experience assembling installing and maintaining machinery and production equipment
- 5Knowledge of electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- 6Ability to read technical manuals blueprints and schematics
- 7Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance software CMMS
- 8Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- 9Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 10Must follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
