Maintenance Technician I, Industrial Automation & Electrical
Overview
Bold electrical and mechanical systems support at scale in a manufacturing setting. You will assist with preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repairs to keep production running smoothly. You will work under experienced technicians and engineers, learning industrial maintenance, electrical, pneumatic, and automation concepts. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and perform scheduled PM activities on manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime
- 2Assist with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues that impact production and reliability
- 3Repair and maintain equipment to support safe operations and improved throughput
- 4Review equipment history and maintenance records to identify recurring issues and inform fixes
- 5Read and interpret basic schematics, manuals, and work instructions
- 6Respond to downtime events following established troubleshooting procedures
- 7Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance processes
- 8Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues
- 9Maintain accurate documentation and communicate status during shift handoffs
- 10Participate in safety and 5S3R housekeeping and required training
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- 3Exposure to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or conveyor systems
- 4Experience using CMMS or MES software
- 5Basic computer skills for entering work orders and reviewing maintenance documentation
- 6Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays
- 7Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs
- 8Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- 9Ability to wear PPE as required
- 10Basic mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn
